On 1 March 2026, approximately 40 attendees, including alumni members, along with their families and friends, gathered at Imperial China restaurant in central London to celebrate the Chinese New Year, welcoming the Year of the Horse.
The occasion was graced by Guest of Honour, Ms Nicola-Anne Singh (Arts & Social Sciences ’10), the Singapore Deputy High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. She was happy to meet and joined us in the festivity.
Dr Sharon Heng (Medicine ’08), Chairperson of NUS Alumni Network London, welcomed guests to the lunch.
The event provided attendees the opportunity to meet the senior alumni members and young newcomers who have arrived to work in cosmopolitan London. Guests enjoyed sharing experiences and news, while catching up with friends and sampling the feast of Chinese New Year dishes catering to both vegetarian and non- vegetarian guests.
