The annual Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health (SSHSPH) AlumNite (Pre-Commencement Dinner) was held at Four Points by Sheraton on 10 July 2026, bringing together more than 150 graduands, alumni, faculty members, and guests. The evening celebrated the graduating cohort’s academic achievements and served as a memorable kickoff to their commencement celebrations.
Graduands arrived alongside their loved ones to commemorate this milestone, with each receiving a plush version of the School’s mascot, Otus, as a keepsake.
The evening opened with a warm welcome from the Dean, Professor Teo Yik Ying, who commended the graduands for their dedication, intellectual curiosity, and contributions during their time at the School. He also expressed his appreciation to returning alumni for maintaining their strong ties with the SSHSPH community.
The evening also shone a spotlight on student excellence. Prof Teo, alongside Vice Dean (Education) Associate Professor Liow Chee Hsiang, presented awards to 18 students in recognition of their exceptional academic and research accomplishments.
