We were honoured to have the Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn deliver his remarks at the event. We were also pleased to hear perspectives from Mr Ahmad Shaleh Bawazir, Director for ASEAN Political-Security Cooperation at Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia; Dr Jimmy Gani, Chairman, Asosiasi Pengusaha Indonesia (APINDO) and Founder & Chairman, Proven Force Indonesia, moderated by Ms Talitha Chairunissa, Ph.D (Public Policy PhD ’25), Senior Economist & Public Policy Specialist, Indonesian Economist Alliance.
Beyond the ASEAN 2045 discussion, the evening was also an opportunity for our alumni to reconnect, exchange ideas and expand their networks in Jakarta.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and we are deeply grateful to the NUS Alumni Network Jakarta for bringing the community together.
