Welcome back to Kent Ridge campus, NUS Law!<\/p>

The Faculty officially relocated from Bukit Timah to the Kent Ridge campus this Academic Year, moving over all teaching, student life and administrative activities. The shift brings NUS Law closer to the wider NUS community, enabling new opportunities for interdisciplinary learning and deeper immersion in campus life. \u00a0<\/p>

Timeline<\/u><\/p>

  • 1956 \u2013 The Department of Law was established at the University of Malaya\u2019s Bukit Timah campus, with the first students admitted the following year<\/li>
  • 1981 \u2013 Law moved to the Kent Ridge campus following the merger of the University of Singapore and Nanyang University to form NUS<\/li>
  • 2006 \u2013 Law returned to the Bukit Timah campus after the site was restored to NUS<\/li>

    The first law students were admitted to the Bukit Timah campus in 1957.
