Celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival With These NUS Alumni-Founded Businesses

From classic lotus paste to bold local flavours, these NUS alumni-founded businesses have created festive delights that are perfect for the season.

One of our favourite seasons of indulgence is here again! This year, the Mooncake Festival—also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival—falls on 6 October 2025. Traditionally celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the Chinese lunar calendar, the harvest festival marks one of Singapore’s biggest celebrations. And with it, of course, comes sweet treats. The titular mooncake is a unique pastry that can be filled with various flavoured pastes.

From classic lotus paste to bold local flavours like Mao Shan Wang, these NUS alumni-founded businesses have created festive delights that are perfect for the season.
