What was your first impression?
Honestly, nothing dramatic! We were just friends at first. There wasn’t any big spark or grand moment, it grew naturally over time.
Was there a specific moment or challenge that made it clear that both of you wanted a future together?
There wasn’t one dramatic turning point. It was more a gradual realisation through conversations, shared values, and how we supported each other during different phases of life that we wanted to build a future together.
How has your partner made you a better person? What have you learned from him?
He has taught me patience and calmness. His relaxed, chill attitude balances my intensity. Over time, I’ve learned to slow down and trust the process.
What is your favourite thing about your partner?
He is incredibly cool-headed. No matter the situation, he stays composed and that steadiness brings peace into our relationship.
Give us your best relationship advice.
Don’t pre-plan a “perfect life.” Grow together, respect each other’s individuality, and allow each person to flourish in their own lane. The relationship should support growth, not restrict it.

Do you have any memories as a couple in NUS? What were your favourite places on campus to spend time together?
We lived in Prince George’s Park Residences, and the food court there was one of our favourite places. Many simple meals and conversations there became some of our most meaningful memories.
