More than 60 senior alumni, including special guests, gathered for a luncheon at the Scholars Restaurant Function Room of the Kent Ridge Guild House on 23 Jan 2025 to celebrate the Annual Lohei event.
Many came garbed in traditional Lunar New Year dresses. Mrs Carmee Lim (Science ’63) specially choreographed and led the Welcome Fan Dance to the song 夜来香 (lit. “Fragrance of the night”), with members singing along heartily during the chorus. A PowerPoint presentation of all the NUS Senior Alumni activities organised and held in 2024 was shown and looped while members partook of the sumptuous spread. A lucky draw was also conducted via a spin-the-wheel mobile app. Five members were delighted to take home prizes donated by one of the committee members.
